school holidays are here! (:
yes. finally. FINALLY! you do not know how unbearable school was getting... it's really weird how i feel like i need my holidays this year. not like last year. last year it was "oh one term's gone so fast?". this year, it's "oh one term's gone so fast?" PLUS "i absoulutely canNOT take one more day of school after this, it's killing me x" i wonder if it's a good or bad sign... i have really been putting in a lot more effort in mugging this year. or rather, the first half of it. but the irony is that i've been doing really badly. i suddenly have this near phobia of summative assesments. sure, some were okay. but 90% of my summative assesment results were below avg. actually, i think 95%. my gpa's dropped by a whole 1.0. jeepers, i wonder... it's rather depressing, but then i think my problems were mostly because of bad time management during the test. for some reason my brain's clock can't synchronize with the clock on the classroom wall. there i am, taking my own sweet time..while the clock ticks away furiously. i quote howie day's collide, "this clock has never seemed so alive". haha. sigh, okay gotta improve for the next semester! i feel like i've got an okay grasp of the subjects (most of them anyway), it's just the tests that i can't do okay in.
thiock got a haircut. a rather good terrible one i must say. you know i really like how our class manages to suck personal info out of teachers. or at least converse with them on a more personal level. it's quite amusing... and it seems to help to increase this class-teacher bond, but almost as importantly, it helps us (or me at least) to remember that our teachers are humans as well. i think a lot of the time people don't seem to be oblivious to that fact. at least now i can imagine teachers like klui, thiock, juliekoh and mrs (lit&eng) yap having social lives outside of school. klui was exceptionally amusing when he admitted that "actually, i don't have a favourite place to hangout" in that klui tone and klui look. aghh speaking of teachers, i half hope that mrs (lit&eng) yap doesn't leave us. but i mean i'd understand if she had to go cos of her son and all, i'd support her. but i just don't quite fancy changing teachers every term. somehow, the class that i'm in seems to be struck with that streak of luck. last year it was mrwolfe and mrsagneslim. changed to adrielyap then mrsho and msquek then mswu. hmm, wow didn't quite realise we changed teachers that many times.
laoshi showed us this really cute/weird/nice chinese movie during chinese on friday. the cat was so evil!!! but doudou is super cute, so is doudou's grandmother. they call her fishball grandma (?!?!) hahah so funny. and the grandmother looks wooden. i couldn't tell if it was a him or a her actually. can't wait to watch the rest of the show, laoshi promised she'd show us when sch reopens. it was mostly about the 7th month and it's traditions + superstitions. reminded me a lot of the ch8 9o'clock show- zero to hero, which btw, is a really nice show! it seems to be that the shows at 9o'clock on ch8 have been labelled- THE 9o'clock show. which makes total sense :D.
okay today was newbalance aquathlon. did pretty badly. i've been deproving :/ quite weird. my run was total shite, so was my swim. really..bad. it's not good, so it's bad. must try to identify what's causing all this deprovement. cos it's so strange, i'm doing worse than i was doing when i didn't train much. that's, plain..bad. oh well, at least i got to meet quite a lot of people there. participation has increased by 100% apparently. a lot of swimfast people as well, strange... and eve looks a lot like lynette now! it's freaky. haven't seen so many of them for so long. ah yes and i have been blessed with more blisters. ew. ooh congrats to all those people out there who did well! and i hope pamchan's okay, heard she fell and had to go to the hospital. must've been pretty bad..yikes. christine did really great, happy for her. clarissa too. lol. um, jina.. was pretty upset cos clarissa beat her. it was really funny, this is what jina said to the both of us before we started- "you all must come in right after me ah, don't let anyone overtake you." then clarissa was high (as usual) and in that meek cheeky voice she said, "come in infront of you can anot?" and then jina blew up. LOL it was..amusing. i was laughing my head off. ayee, but true enough, clarissa beat her. then clarissa was so scared of jina cos jina was giving her angry glares. she came to me and said "eh how ah, jina's angry with me leh. so scary" it was funny cos jina was seen hiding behind bushes near clarissa. it almost seemed as if jina was stalking her. hahah. hm anw vote of thanks!

thanks to shauna and pamchan for making me laugh before the race, and for taking part! cos of you guys we were eligible for div champs. hope pam's okay.

thanks to dexter for encouraging me during the race. if only i had followed your pace like you asked. agh. it was sure nice of you to offer to pace me though :) never really talked to you during training though, you always seem to be slacking :/ hurhur.

rah enough thankyous, epsecially when practically all of them don't come here -.-" haha just saying it so i can get the ineedtothankthem feeling out of my system. okay everyone, watch out. i'm going to beat you all!!!!! when i figure out how to that is. heheheh.
dinner's calling. enjoy holeydays everyone! hm i was having visions of seeing klui, garnish, thiock and other subj teachers at our class party. hahaha and i was laughing. ooh yeahhh, i'm aching :D training tmr!
